Alternative medicine… some thoughts on the placebo effect,
The placebo effect is just another example of Mind over matter!
As an individual being we each have the ability to control our experience of Life. We can choose our reactions in any given situation, and even choose to control and manipulate our reality.
Many people become consumed with their thoughts, beliefs and preconceptions about life. Allowing their existence to be dependent on, and governed by the outside world. Those expecations and beliefs are the root causes of their physical and mental sickness’.
When we take control of our consciousness we have the power to alter the state of being.
An active, positive, and conscious healing effort will overpower any medicine or placebo available.
*The key factor in the effectiveness of a placebo is the patients belief/expectation as to what is going to happen.
